Cut Quality is Poor

Improving Cutting Quality
To begin, ensure that the machine is loaded with material that has a backing paper (Vinyl),
the blade and blade holder are set up correctly and the front cover is closed.
1. Using the cursor keys on the control panel move the cutting carriage to the location and carry out the cutting test.
2. Press the [FUNCTION] key.
3. Press [DOWN] several times to display this screen.


4. Press [RIGHT] to display this screen.


5. Press [ENTER] The test cut will now be cut.
6. When the cutting of the test pattern is finished, press [DOWN] to feed the material out of the front
of the machine to inspect the cut quality.

7. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select the cutting condition you to set.

8. Press [RIGHT] to display the screen shown below.

9. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select a value. The value on the right will change, whereas the figure
on the left is the current setting.
10. Press [Enter] to confirm your entry. Both numbers will now match.
11. If you want to check the improvement or If multiple changes are required repeat the
processes.
12. Press [FUNCTION] to go back to the original screen and to complete the process.
