How should I config - setup the Roland DG Connect Output Manager

Pre-Request

  1. Having an active Roland DG Connect PrintAutoMate environment
  2. Having an active Roland DG Connect PrintAutoMate account
  3. Having Roland DG Connect PrintAutoMate Output Manager Installed

Solution

The "Output Manager" is a service / application which needs to be installed on a local computer running VersaWorks or having the ability to transmit jobs via hot folder over the network to a certain RIP - Output device.

  1. Before start using the "Output Manager" create an operator user account in "PrintAutoMate".  This user account will be used as user account to login into the "Output Manager.Screenshot
  2. Login in onto "Output Manager" service / applicationScreenshot
  3. The "Output Manager" will automatically detect the installed version of VersaWorks and will communicate back the device info and queue's towards PrintAutoMate.image.png
  4. The "Output Manager" does receiving Imposed PDF's from PrintAutoMate and will transmit them  to the assigned queue or hot folder.
