How to register your dealer on Roland DG Connect

 

How to register your dealer on Roland DG Connect.

 

Previously, our service engineer would visit you to check the status and parameters on your devices. However, by registering with Roland DG Connect, if you could kindly proceed with the dealer registration, our dealer will be able to access to machine infomation and assess the error that occurred when your device stopped, before the service engineer's visit to your location.

This capability allows our service engineer to have a better understanding of the device's situation and even determine the lifespan of consumables before the visit, enabling us to provide you with excellent service.

We kindly request you to proceed with the dealer registration in order to provide you with even better support.

Roland DG Connect Web Screen

1.  Open the "Settings"

 

2.  “Open device settings and select "Manage Dealers".

And enter the email address of the dealer representative you wish to register in the "Add Dealer" section, and click on "Add Dealer."

 

Roland DG Connect Mobile App Screen

1. Open the Roland DG Connect web site and select the device you want to share with your dealer.

2. Select "Settings" from the menu.

3. Enter the email address of the dealer representative you wish to register in the "Add Dealer" section, and click on "Add Dealer."

Roland DG Connect will refer to the Roland DG service engineer list based on the entered email address and register/display the company name of the service engineer in the "Dealers" section.

 

By registering your dealer, registered dealer will be able to obtain the following printer information:

- Printer system reports

- Basic printer information such as IP address

- Operating hours, etc. to determine the life of consumable parts

- Operating hours and adjustment values of the printer

- Error date and error number

- Printer operation history
