Business Dashboard
The Business Dashboard allows you to review the details of the print history of all devices and understand the following based on the print history. Understanding the cost of media and ink can serve as a reference for the profitability of your business and the inventory management of ink and media. management of ink and media.

1. Device Setup
To use the Business Dashboard, you first need to set the currency and the unit of length.
Please refer to the contents of the URL below and set the currency and unit of length from the "Account Settings" menu. If the length and currency are reset, the data recorded in the Business Dashboard will be reset.

Once the settings for currency and length are complete, proceed to the settings for each device.
Setting the information of the media you are using
1-1 Select the device for which you want to enter media information.
1-2 Enter the width and length of the media you are using, and the purchase price of the media.
The media name set on the device is automatically displayed as the media name in Roland DG Connect. If no preset is set, it will be displayed as "When media preset is not selected." Please set the media information and purchase price for the media you are using. Also, if you create a new preset, please restart Roland DG Connect Hub to load the preset information.
1-3 Register the selling price when your company sells the product printed on the media.
For setting the selling price, please set the selling price per square meter.
1-4 Enter the purchase price of the ink you are using.
Once the ink purchase price setting is complete, please press "Save" to save the settings.
2. ROI Dashboard
In the ROI menu, graphs are displayed based on the set currency, unit of length, selling price, etc., from the actual printed size and ink usage.
3. Log
By clicking on the log, you can check the history of outputs within the specified date range.
Also, on the Log screen, you can export past print history in CSV format. By utilizing the exported data, you can perform the aggregation you want, such as confirming the profitability of each machine or the media usage fee for specific customers based on the print job name.
If you do not want to reflect data such as printing failures in your revenue, you can exclude it from the ROI Business Dashboard calculation by clicking on the "Waste" column.
Ink consumption in Connect displays the amount of ink used from the start of printing to the end of printing. The ink consumption displayed in VersaWorks 6 is the assumed amount of ink estimated from the print data.
Therefore, the ink consumption in VersaWorks 6 and Connect are different.
4. Specify display period
You can specify the period to be displayed on the ROI Dashboard. The settings for the display period are as follows:
When you select custom, you can freely select the display period from the calendar.
5. Operation History
The Operation History is displayed only for accounts contracted with a subscription plan (Professional or Premium).

6. Total Revenue
Displays the total sales revenue for a specified period. It also compares the past output for a specified period such as last month or the previous day, and displays the increase or decrease ratio of total revenue.
7. Total Expense
Displays the total amount of media and ink costs for a specified period. It also compares the past output for a specified period such as last month or the previous day, and displays the increase or decrease ratio of total costs.
8. Total Profit
It displays the total profit (total revenue - total cost) for a specified period. It also compares the past output for a specified period such as last month or the previous day, and displays the increase or decrease ratio of total profit.
9. Expense and Revenue Breakdown
Displays the total revenue and cost for each day of the specified period.
10. Expense Details
Displays the breakdown of media and ink costs against the total cost.
11. Ink Volume
The Ink Volume is displayed only for accounts contracted with a subscription plan (Professional or Premium).
You can check the daily ink usage fee and breakdown of used ink for a specified period.
By checking the monthly ink consumption and the ink usage for the same month of the previous year, you can get a rough idea of ink inventory management.
12. Media Used
The Media Used is displayed only for accounts contracted with a subscription plan (Professional or Premium).
You can check the daily media usage fee and breakdown of used media for a specified period.
By checking the monthly ink consumption and the ink usage for the same month of the previous year, you can get a rough idea of ink inventory management.
The media name is displayed in the Media Used only for printers equipped with a touch panel LCD panel.
