Printer Monitoring
Manual for Roland DG Connect
Printer monitoring allows you to monitor the operational status of the device you are using in real-time.
On the printer monitoring screen, you can see various information about the device in a list.
In addition, links to detailed views of each device are also set on the printer monitoring screen, so it is recommended to keep the printer monitoring screen displayed at all times on Roland DG Connect.
Certain functions may not be displayed in some devices. Please check the following for the compatibility status.

1. Status
Displays the current status of the registered device. You can check the operation status of the device in real-time from your smartphone or tablet, even when you are away from your device.
2. Health Check Grade
Displays the health check grade shown in the health check menu. By clicking within the health check frame, you can move to the ”Health Check” menu screen of each device.
If the health check grade is at a "C" rank, please check the device status from the "Health Check" menu.
3. Thumbnail
If you are printing, a thumbnail of the print job will be displayed. However, thumbnails are limited to jobs output from VersaWorks on the same PC that you signed up for Roland DG Connect Hub. If thumbnails do not appear even when output from the same PC that you signed up for Roland DG Connect Hub, please update VersaWorks to the latest version.
4. Ink Level
Displays the current ink level. Also, by clicking within the frame of the ink remaining bar, you can move to the ”Ink Levels" menu screen of each device.
5. Today's Consumption
Displays the media usage and ink consumption of the viewing day.
6. Setting of Expected Operating Time
You can display two menus from here.
A: You can move to the "Dashboard" screen of the selected device.
B: You can set the expected operating time for one day (default setting is 8 hours). By setting the expected operating time for one day, you can easily check the daily operating rate and grasp the daily operating status.
7. History
You can check the history of print jobs printed today.
Please refer to the Business Dashboard manual for the display of revenue, cost, and profit.
8. Log
Displays today's printing status in a Gantt chart.
9. Data Refresh
By pressing the button, you can obtain the latest device status.
10. Printer Monitoring Data Update Frequency
You can set the frequency to automatically update the data between 1 and 30 minutes. The default setting is 5 minutes.
11. Filter Function
By using the filter function, you can hide devices that do not need to be displayed in Printer Monitoring. Please use the filter function when the location of the device is different even if you are using the same Roland DG Connect ID.
12. Alert
You can decide whether or not to display alerts. If set to display, alerts such as maintenance alerts that are displayed on the device panel will be displayed in the notification area.
