Profiles (Device menu)

By using the optimal media profile for your specific media, you can maximize the performance of your printer and make the most of the media's capabilities.

To download media profiles:

1. Select the ink type.
2. Choose the RIP manufacturer and software name. In this case, Roland and VersaWorks 6 are selected.
3. After selecting the media manufacturer from the list, choose your specific media name from the list.
4. Select your ink type and click on [Search].
5. Choose the media profile you want to download.
6. Click [Download] and save the media profile to your desired location.

To load the saved media profile in VersaWorks:

1. Open VersaWorks 6 and click on [Media] -> [Media Management]. The Media Management screen will appear.
2. Click on the folder icon to open the file. The Open File screen will appear.
3. Select the RML file you want to load and click [Open]. The Media Import screen will appear.
4. Choose the media file you want to import and click [OK]. The selected media file will be registered in the "Media Explorer" screen.
5. Click [OK].
