In the printer monitoring screen, you can view various information about the device at a glance.
Furthermore, links to detailed views of each device are also set in Printer Monitoring, so it is recommended to keep the Printer Monitoring screen displayed at all times on Roland DG Connect.

There are two versions of printer monitoring available: a free version (Printer Monitoring Classic) and a subscription (paid) version (Printer Monitoring New) that customers can customize as they wish.

How to customize the layout in Printer Monitoring (New)
1.To create a new page, click on New page and enter a name. To edit a page, select the page you want to edit, and click on the edit button located at the top right corner of the screen to switch to the editing mode.
2.Drag and drop the menu blocks (Real-time Monitor, Remote Controller, Warning Alert) onto the grid to position them.
3.Click on the gear icon at the top right of the positioned menu block.
4.Select the printer and display items you want to display, then click "Save".
5.To change the page name, make the necessary changes. Then click on the save icon located at the top right corner of the screen to save the created page.
* By bookmarking the URL of the created page, it is also possible to directly access the Printer Monitoring page for viewing.
* If you have multiple printers, please adjust the display size from your browser's menu button (three dots) as needed.
Remote Control(Remotely operate the printer)
The printer can now be remotely operated from your browser.
After performing remote operation, you can check the printer's operation through the "Status" display in Printer Monitoring.
To check the printer's status, please click the refresh button on the Printer Monitoring to update the status.
*If you want to use the remote control function from mobile devices such as smartphones, please access Roland DG Connect through your browser and operate it. Remote control function is not available for mobile app

The available functions vary depending on the model.
Remote control function
- Sub Power ON/OFF: Turn the subpower of the printer ON/OFF. When the printer is in sleep mode, by pressing on the Sub Power On/OFF button to turn on the sub power, the printer will return from sleep.
- Heater ON/OFF: Turns ON/OFF the print heater and dryer heater simultaneously.
- Perform ink circulation: Perform ink circulation remotely.
- Perform Normal Cleaning: Execute cleaning remotely.
- Perform test print: Execute test print remotely. Media must be set up in order to perform the test print.

Printer Monitoring (New) Screen and Overview
1. Status display
This displays the current status of registered devices. You can check the operational status of devices in real-time, even when you are away from the location using a smartphone or tablet. This allows you to monitor the device's operation status from anywhere.
2. Health check grade
The health check grade shown in the Health Check menu is displayed.
By clicking within the health check frame, you can navigate to the health check menu screen for each device.
If the health check grade is marked as "C", check the device status from the health check menu.
3. Thumbnail display
When printing, thumbnails of the current print job will be displayed. However, please note that only the thumbnails of the jobs output from VersaWorks on the same PC where you have signed up for Roland DG Connect Hub are displayed. If thumbnails are not displayed even when outputting from the same PC as Roland DG Connect Hub, please update VersaWorks to the latest version.
4. Ink level display
The current ink levels are displayed. By clicking within the ink level frame, you can navigate to the ink level menu screen for each device.
5. Today's consumption
The usage of media and ink consumption are displayed for the day of viewing.
6. You can navigate to the dashboard screen of the selected device.
7. Estimated printing operation time setting
You can set the estimated operating time per day (default is set to 8 hours). By setting the estimated operating time per day, you can easily monitor the daily operating rate and track the daily operational status.
8. Data reflesh
By pressing the button, the data is updated and the latest device status will be shown.
9. Printer Monitoring data update frequency
You can set the frequency of automatic data updates between 5 seconds and 15 minutes.
10. Deleting Printer Monitoring page
You can delete the created Printer Monitoring pages.
Warning Alert display
Alerts such as maintenance alerts that are shown on the device panel are displayed.
If there is an alert, the alert icon turns yellow, and hovering over the alert icon will display the alert description. If four or more alerts occur simultaneously, clicking on the alert icon will display the alert list.
It is possible to select multiple printers to display Alert warnings simultaneously.
