How to edit a shape

Question

How and what can be edited from a placed shape

Pre-Request

1. Minimum release version : Roland DG Connect Designer v2.0
2. Valid Roland DG Connect ID
3. A template or design with shapes

Solution

1. Click the shape you want to edit, tree mains way's of editing shapes
   1. Fill color
   2. Fill pattern
   3. Double click and edit vector wise, have the ability to fill with color or pattern and or stroke with color and pattern
2. Once you have clicked the shape object a dedicated panel will appear next to the Left Icon menu bar.
       
3. In the given first screen
   1. You can select a shape, which will be placed on the Artboard
   2. You can select Fill Color - Stroke Color - Opacity
   3. In the Color panel from Fill and Stroke
      1. you can select a Solid Color or a Pattern which can be filled with a color as well.
      2. you can select Add Structural - which will apply structural ink on top of the coloured asset
      3. you can select Knockout - which will knockout any underlaying color or structural pattern from the selected Shape.
      4. you can assign No Color
      5. you can create own colours
      6. 
   4. In the Pattern panel your can
      1. Select a pattern which will be used to fill the selected shape with a selected pattern
      2. you can color the pattern
      3. you can Add Structural on top of the pattern
      4. you can define the size of the pattern
      5. you can define the offset and angle in which the pattern should appear in the shape.
