How to start with a new DIMENSE design _Vol.01

What are the steps - How can I start to define my DIMENSE design settings

Pre-Request

1. Minimum release version : Roland DG Connect Designer v2.0
2. Valid Roland DG Connect ID
3. Having DIMENSE Module Active
4. Logged into Roland DG Connect Designer

Solution

2. In the Dashboard click "New Design"
3. When the DIMENSE module is active you can click the "DIMENSE Design" icon
4. Give a name to your Design
5. Add tags to your Design.  Tags will help to search for your created designs.  Adding tags, is done by writing key words and pressing enter
6. Select a document size or create a custom one
7. Customer created document sizes can be saved with a given name
8. Assign a "Bleed" margin.  By default adding bleed is proportional, is this is not expected, you can click the link mark.
9. Assign a "Margin".  By default adding bleed is proportional, is this is not expected, you can click the link mark.
10. Only when the DIMENSE module is active
    1. you can select a "Print Media Preset"
11. For ending you can save all settings as a "Document Preset".  This can be useful if you have a new job with the same parameters.  Just click "Load Document Preset" select one and all settings are set.
