I want to vectorise an image _Vol.14

Question

How can I vectorise an image in Designer and can I edit it as a vector.

Pre-Request

  1. An active Roland DG Connect Subscription on Roland DG Connect Designer Visual Communication Module
  2. Have a new design ready
  3. An Image

Solution

Within Roland DG Connect Designer visual communication module you can remove the background from an image in a simple way

  1. New Design
  2. Go to the "Image" tool
  3. Select or upload an image
  4. Double click the image, you will enter the "Image Editing Tool"
  5. Select the button "Vectorize"
    1. Click the button "Generate Palette"
    2. A list of colors is being visualised which will be taken into consideration during vectorisation
    3. You can increase or decrease the number of colors by using the "Tolerance" Slider.
    4. You can delete colors which shouldn't be taken into account for vectorisation.
  6. Once ok, click the button "Vectoirze Image"
