How can I apply a CutContour or PerfCutContour to an outline text or to an selected element from an asset.

- An active Roland DG Connect Subscription on Roland DG Connect Designer Visual Communication Module
- Have a new design ready
- An Clipart or Asset or Image or Element
Solution
Within Roland DG Connect Designer visual communication module you easily apply a CutContour or PerfCutContour to a selected part from an asset or to outlined text.
- Create a new design
- To a Shape
- Place a shape on the artboard
- Select a the shape
- Select the shape on the artboard
- Go to "Stroke Color"
- Select the CutContour or PerfCutContour color
- Apply a width -- normally for CutContour or PerfCutContour this is 0,25 points
- To an element from a clipart
- Place a clipart on the artboard
- Select the clipart
- Double click the clipart
- Select the element from the clipart to which you would like to assign CutContour or PerfCutContour
- Go the "Stroke Color"
- Select the CutContour or PerfCutContour color
- Apply a width -- normally for CutContour or PerfCutContour this is 0,25 points
- To an outlined text
- Place text on the artboard
- Click "Create Outline"
- Go to "Layers" uncheck the text layer
- Select the outlined text elements
- Go to "Shapes"
- Go to "Stroke Color"
- Select the CutContour or PerfCutContour color
- Apply a width -- normally for CutContour or PerfCutContour this is 0,25 points
