Uploading Tiff files with alpha channels

Question

Can I upload tiff files which do include multiple Alpha channels

Pre-Request

1. Minimum release version : Roland DG Connect Designer v2.2.0
2. A Module is activated
3. Valid Roland DG Connect ID

Solution

In the Image function, you can upload Tiff files containing multiple Alpha Channels.  If the Alpha channels are named after the Roland DG special colors then the alpha channels will automatically be linked with he functional Roland DG Spot color plate.

1. Select the image function
2. Click the upload function button
3. Select or drop a multi channel tiff file on the upload screen
4. Select a category in which the tiff file should be saved
5. Once uploaded automatically a new Pop Up screen in visualised showing the different detected alfa channels.
6. Adjust the functional behaviour of the detected alfa channels if needed.
7. Click Oke
8. As such the Tiff file is ready to be processed for Printing.
