Editing an uploaded tiff file

Question

Can an uploaded tiff file be edited, can we change the Special color plates ?

Pre-Request

  1. Minimum release version : Roland DG Connect Designer v2.2.0
  2. A Module is activated
  3. Valid Roland DG Connect ID

Solution

An uploaded tiff file can be edited.  You can assign other special colorplates to tiff files containing alpha channels, you can edit each individual alpha channel in png format and re-group them.

  1. Select the image function
  2. Click the upload function button
  3. Accept, if requested, the alpha channel assignment
  4. Double click the image
  5. You enter the Image editing mode
  6. Click the Tiff icon
    1. Re-Assign the special color plates if available to the appropriate alpha channel
  7. Go to layers
  8. Select the image Layer
  9. Click the "Ungrouping" icon
  10. The tiff file is converted in different Png image layers depending on the number of channels available in the Tiff file itself.
