【VG2/SG2】 Limit Initialization
This is for adjusting the relative distance between the limit sensor and the capping position, and also detecting the distance from the cut down position to the limit sensor after completing the adjustment.
When the limit position is not correctly set, it may cause some problems such as a head capping error and a head carriage lock error . Also, when the cutter-down position is not correct, there will be some problems such as a cutter down error when separating the sheet.
In this example we are using a TrueVis SG2
1. Start by open the maintenance cover L and R

2. Turn on the sub power switch while pressing the keys to enter the limit initialization mode.
3. Lock the print-head carriage.
Confirm that the print-head carriage is locked by pushing it lightly to the left to eliminate looseness.
4. Confirm that the print head is capped properly, and press the [ENTER] key.
The tool carriage will be separated from the print-head carriage and limit position initialization will start. After initialization is completed, the message is displayed
5. Move the tool carriage and print-head carriage with your hand until they make full contact with the left frame with the cutter in the down position.
NOTE-In order to shorten the work time, the tool carriage and the print-head carriage are not separated.
6. Press the [ENTER] key to perform cut down position initialization.
After initialization is completed, the message is displayed.
