File formats that can be imported into Roland CutStudio

File formats that can be imported into Roland CutStudio are the following:

    jpg, bmp, png, stx, Adobe Illustrator Ai/EPS

 

<Notes>
1) jpg:
    - JPEG format images saved in CMYK cannot be imported.

2) stx:
    - Files in Dr.STiKA PLUS Ver1.1 or later can be imported.
    - Files in Dr.STiKA format cannot be imported.
    - CutStudio and Dr.STiKA PLUS are not fully compatible with files due to some differences in the way characters are processed.
    - Polygons, ellipses, and other shapes will be reproduced, but the position and orientation of characters may not be reproduced.
    - To import the data without changing its contents, convert the characters to polygons in Dr.STiKA PLUS.

3) Adobe® Illustrator Ai
- Text strings will not be imported. (Text that has been converted to outlines and converted to paths can be imported.)
- Path thickness is ignored.
- Paths with no fill and zero thickness will not be imported.
- Line edge shapes of paths are ignored.
- The joining shapes of path corners are ignored.
- Dashed lines are ignored and imported as a single line.
- Bitmap images are not imported.
