Roland DG Connect cannot display machine data
If machine data may not be displayed, data may not have been uploaded to cloud data base. Or, Roland DG Connect Hub may have not acquired the machine data.
Please check the following.
Step1. Check the IP address of PC and printer
Situation A: Using local IP address, and first and second IP address of PC and printer are the same. (e.g. PC: 192. 168.*.* , Printer: 192. 168.*.*)
Situation B: Using company domain IP address, and first and second IP address of PC and printer are the same. (e.g. PC: 123. 456.*.* , Printer: 123. 456.*.*)
Situation C: PC using company domain IP, and printer using local IP address. (e.g. PC: 123. 456.*.* , Printer: 192. 168.*.*)
Step2. If you choose A or C in step 1, please follow the procedure below.
Change firewall settings.
1) Open [Start] > [Windows System] > [Control panel].
2) Open [Control panel] > [System and Security] > [Windows Defender Firewall].
3) Click [Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall].
4) Click [Change settings].
5) Please check [RDGConnectHub] security setting.
- If you have not checked "Private" and "Public" settings, please check.
