【GS-24】Error connecting to cutter when sending job

When an error “unable to connect to machine” occurs, the most common cause is that the software cannot connect to the cutter. Check that the driver is installed, the cutter is connected, turned on, and that the USB connection between the cutter and the computer is secure. Instructions below are to check if the driver is installed on the computer:

Open Control Panel > Devices and printers > Check that the cutter is under "printers" and not under "Unspecified". If the cutter is under "Unspecified" that means that the driver needs to be installed.
If the cutter is under printers then you can try uninstalling the driver and then re-installing it. Download the driver from the support page of the cutter. Once you have the driver downloaded, extract the zip file, and then run the setup. You will have an option to uninstall, select your model cutter and then Start.

If you uninstall the driver, your computer will need to be re-started. Once you re-start the computer open the driver file again and install it.
Once, you re-install it you can go back into control panel and check in devices and printers to verify that the cutter is showing under printers while it is connected and turned on.
