Printer Motor Error

MOTOR ERROR indicates that one of the motors has jammed or has encountered resistance.

 

Please follow the below steps:

  • Remove any media jams from the machine.
  • Use suitable media for your printer.
  • Use lighter media.
  • Unroll some media from the rear of the machine.
  • Check for any loose components in the print area that may interfere with the carriage movement.
  • Perform a limit initialization:
    • For TrueVis Series 2 models - 【VG2/SG2】 Limit Initialization
    • Other model instructions coming soon.

If none of the above, contact your Roland reseller or support.
