GS2-24 Roland DG Connect Setup Guide -- For Windows +USB cable --
For managing licenses in VersaWorks 7, it is mandatory to register a Roland DG Connect ID when using VersaWorks 7. Please make sure that you install Roland DG Connect Hub and complete the ID registration.
If you are using a Windows PC and connecting the GS2-24 and PC with a USB cable, please refer to the following procedure.

Setup instructions if you are using a Windows PC and connecting your GS2-24 and PC with a USB cable
There are four steps to set up Roland DG Connect.
1. Create a new Roland DG Connect ID.
2. Download and Install Roland DG Connect Hub.
3. Device set up on Roland DG Connect Hub.
4. VersaWorks 7 Installation and License Authentication
1. Create a new Roland DG Connect ID.
To use VersaWorks 7, you need the Roland DG Connect Hub Windows application, which connects your device to the cloud. Please follow the steps below to download the latest version.
1-1 Click the link below to open the Roland DG Connect website:

1-2 Click “Sign Up” to create a new Roland DG Connect account.
1-3 Enter your Email Address (Roland DG Connect ID) and Click “Send verification code”
1-4 You will receive an Email with a verification code as below.
1-5 Enter your verification code and click “Verify Code”.
1-6 Enter or select all the necessary information and click “Create”.
1-7 Log in to the Roland DG Connect website using your registered account.

2. Download and Install Roland DG Connect Hub
2-1 Click the download icon in the upper-left corner of the Home screen, then download and install Roland DG Connect Hub.
2-2 Launch the Roland DG Connect Hub and sign in to the Roland DG Connect Hub using the ID and password you created in Roland DG Connect web.
3．Device set up on Roland DG Connect Hub
3-1 Go to the following URL, download the Roland DG GS2-24 Driver Win installer/updater located in the [Roland DG GS2 Driver] folder, and run the installation.
Before installing the driver, do not connect the GS2-24 to your computer via a USB cable.

When the following window appears, select [Install], [Roland DG GS2-24] for the Model, and [USB] for the Port, and then click [Start].
3-2 Once the installation is complete, connect the device to your computer using a USB cable.
Click [Control Panel] > [View devices and printers], and verify that the device appears under “Printers and Scanners.”
4. VersaWorks 7 Installation and License Authentication
4-1 Click the link below, review the license agreement, and click “Agree.”

4-2 Download the five files on this page and run the installation.
4-3 When you start VersaWorks 7, the license authentication screen shown below will appear. Make sure that Roland DG Connect Hub is running, then click "Online Authentication" to authenticate the license for VersaWorks 7.
